Terms & Conditions
We aim to dispatch your goods within 24 hours of you placing the order. Orders are shipped via Royal Mail and selected couriers. We only ship to the UK, excluding Ireland.
Please note these times are calculated from the cut off time which is 1 o’clock UK time on the day of order Monday to Friday and 11 o’clock on a Saturday. Orders placed on a Sunday and during UK public or bank holidays will be despatched on the next working day and the shipping time should be calculated from 4 o’clock on that day.
All goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. If no one of that age is at the address when the delivery is attempted the goods will be retained at the nearest local office of our couriers, in which case the driver will leave notification of attempted delivery.
We may send your order in multiple packages.
If delivery is attempted and no-one is in, you will be notified that your package is being held for collection by our couriers. Please pay careful attention to the information that our couriers provide on the information card in respect of collection times, redelivery options, etc.
If you fail to collect the package within the stated time period and the package is returned to us we will consider the order cancelled.
Under these circumstances, prior to making a refund, we will make a charge to cover the post and packing costs of sending the goods to you. An additional postage and packing charge will also be made if you wish the goods to be re-sent.
Please also note that Barrie Stephen Hair does not accept responsibility if our courier fails to notify you of an attempted delivery.
Guaranteed Next Day Delivery is a service of the couriers only, Barrie Stephen Hair cannot offer any guarantees in relation to orders sent using this method and no compensation will be payable by Barrie Stephen Hair under any circumstances. We will refund your postage costs only where our couriers provide us with a refund under the terms for this service. Where this condition is met, the refund will be credited to your card within 30 days of Barrie Stephen Hair receiving the refund.
Please note should our couriers be unable to deliver due to any part of the delivery address or postcode you have provided being wrong, you will be liable up to the total cost of your order should the package fail to be delivered or returned to us within 30 days of posting.
Please note it is the postal and courier companies who guarantee the delivery time not Barrie Stephen Hair. On a rare occasion that a consignment goes missing, time needs to be allowed for investigations to be made, in the case of Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, 15 days must have passed before an item can be classed as lost, in the case of Next day delivery it is 7 days. Please note it can take up to seven working days for us to obtain a copy of a signature for claimed delivery.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any direct or consequential loss or damage resulting from delay or failure in carrying out our obligations which is caused wholly or partly by reason of Act of God, delay in transportation, labour disputes, fire, flood, war, accident, government action, inability to obtain adequate stocks, material, equipment, fuel, power, transportation or any cause beyond our control or beyond the control of that of our servants and agents.
The giving of an order constitutes an acceptance of these terms.
